Kit List
For each cracker
- Sheet of tissue paper or crêpe paper, 33cm x 33cm
- Toilet roll middle
- Cracker snap, from craft outlets or on line
- Glue dots or small squares of double sided sticky tape.
- One toilet roll middle cut into halves.
- Sticky tape.
- Some means of perforating tissue paper – rotary, single point or sharp fork.
- Prick mat or felt/cardboard to protect working surface.
- Piece of string about 40cm long
- Narrow ribbon or fancy parcel tie
- Decorations such as stickers, decorative tape, off cuts of wrapping paper, etc.
Inserts
- Hats, from craft outlets, on line or home made
- Jokes, available on line or make up your own!
- Gifts – general or personalised to the recipient
Hilda’s Helpful Hints:
If using crêpe paper, the stretch goes round the cracker.
Take a toilet roll middle with you when shopping for insert gifts – you will be surprised what will and won’t fit in!
