On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

Hanging Crown Decoration

First make your gingerbread mixture (this is meant to be a good one) Chill it in the fridge.
Next roll out your dough and use cookie cutters or a knife to make your crown shapes (about 3mm thick)
Lay the crowns on a lined baking tray and poke a hole using a cocktail stick or a skewer (this will be where you will thread them up)
Leave plenty of space for them to spread in the oven
Bake your gingerbread crowns (you may want to bake the ones for the tree slightly longer than the ones you will eat straight away!)
Once cool use icing, jelly tots and silver balls to decorate your crowns
