An angel of the Lord appeared to the shepherds, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.

  1. First draw your sheep components onto some stiff card, you could choose black if your prefer.
  2. Cut them out and then cut out small slits all the way around the circular body
  3. Next use sellotape to fix the end of your wool or string to the back of your sheep
  4. Wind the wool in and out of the different slits, being sure to cross in different directions and cover the body. Tie it off
  5. Next use glue to attach you sheep’s head and legs.
  6. Use a pen to add hooves, eyes and nostrils (you could add googly eyes too!)
  7. Don’t forget to add your twine, you can loop it through the wool at the back of your sheep easily enough.
